What happens when I miss a payment?

If you miss a payment, we will notify you via SMS, email and post explaining the following: 

  • A default fee applies, unless stated otherwise. (£27.50 for personal customers; commercial customers, please refer to your credit agreement.)
  • We will attempt to collect this payment again within 7-10 days, provided we have valid bank details. 
  • If this second attempt fails or your bank details are invalid, we will send another reminder by email or post within 7-10 days of the original payment due date. 
  • To avoid cancellation, please check the SMS, email, or letter we sent for your payment deadline.

The email or letter that we send will confirm if another collection attempt is scheduled and the date we will reapply for payment. 

You can bring your account up to date at any point by making a payment via our payment portal- just click the button below. Before proceeding, the portal will notify you if a Direct Debit reattempt is already in progress to help you avoid making a duplicate payment.
