I will miss my next scheduled payment

It’s important to keep your payments up to date to make sure your insurance policy stays active.

We offer several options which may be helpful for you such as changing your payment date, setting up a payment holiday, or extending your deadline to pay any arrears. You can request one of these options using the request form below.

If you do miss a payment, we will let you know via SMS, email and post explaining the following: 

  • A default fee applies, unless stated otherwise. (£27.50 for personal customers; commercial customers, please refer to your credit agreement.)
  • We will attempt to collect this payment again within 7-10 days, provided we have valid bank details. 
  • If this second attempt fails or your bank details are invalid, we will send another reminder by email or post within 7-10 days of the original payment due date. 
  • To avoid cancellation, please check the SMS, email, or letter we sent for your payment deadline.

The letter we send you will confirm if there is another collection scheduled and what date we will reapply to your bank for this payment. Please be aware that missed payments can impact your credit score.
